These terms govern your use of Hoolo, a macOS desktop utility for file organization, Trash policies, and app leftover cleanup.
License
A purchase grants a personal, non-transferable Hoolo license unless a different license type is stated at checkout. The standard license supports activation on 2 Macs for the same user. You may not resell, sublicense, redistribute, rent, lease, or provide Hoolo as a hosted service to others.
Trial and purchase
Hoolo may include a trial period. Paid access, supported payment methods, taxes, and checkout details are shown before payment. After purchase, you receive a license for the product according to the terms shown on the website and checkout page.
File operations
Hoolo is designed to be conservative, but it performs real file operations when you approve or enable them. You are responsible for reviewing cleanup plans, keeping backups for important files, and confirming that selected rules match your intended workflow.
macOS permissions
Some features require macOS permissions such as Full Disk Access. If permissions are not granted, certain scans or cleanup operations may be unavailable or incomplete.
Updates
Hoolo may provide updates that improve reliability, compatibility, security, and product behavior. Some updates may change interface details or supported functionality. Continued use after an update means you accept the updated software behavior.
Acceptable use
You agree not to use Hoolo in a way that violates applicable law, infringes third-party rights, bypasses technical restrictions, or disrupts licensing, update, checkout, or support systems.
Warranty disclaimer
Hoolo is provided as digital software. To the fullest extent permitted by law, it is provided without warranties of uninterrupted operation, error-free behavior, or fitness for every specific workflow. Your statutory rights are not limited where they cannot be waived.
Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Hoolo is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including data loss, lost profits, or business interruption. Always keep independent backups of important files.
